Walked for an hour to get to my spot. 15 min after sun up I hear the dreaded foot stomp. Look and see two does at 20 yds just staring at me. Very unlikely anything else will come through now. Oh well. I'm alive and bowhunting!
I had a bit of a war going on this morning as well. Right after I climbed up, that Mexican food I had last night started warring with my 62yr old colon. The Mexican food insisted on staying but the colon was just as determined that it wasn't. Well quite a ruckus was raised with many strange sounds. In the end I had to climb down and the colon emerged victorious. Whew, glad that's over! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
It's a morning ritual for me walking into the woods. Lol it Just wouldn't be the same if I didn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My mid-morning snack. Maybe it will be a little easier on me than last night's Mexican food! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Still waiting on my first encounter here in PA. I think that the game commission forgot to stock deer this year Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Got back to my truck after last nights sit and met up with a couple guys who were on their way in with 4 coon dogs. Decided there probably wasn’t much point in heading out this morning. Pulled my game card yesterday and finally had a picture of the buck I’m after. Terrible picture but at least I finally got him in the camera. Bad part was it was 3.5 hours after dark when he went by the trail. Hopefully he’ll visit my scrape next week when the rut gets a little closer. I’ll head out again tonight
