If I'm comfortable I'll sit all day just cause it's such an enjoyment to be out for me. But if I'm hot or cold idc I get down when I think it's over.

That could be a good sign of things to come. Good luck!

I just moved my ground blind to the edge of a field planted with a disk in radish/pea/cereal rye cover crop. The wind seems to be shifting a lot, so I may just stay in here just to see what the deer are doing on this side of the farm.

That was fun. Let two does mill around for 30 minutes. Was hoping a big boy would come in and feed. Nope.

First deer of the night. I think that is about 70 yards. I'm guessing it is a button buck[IMG]

Ended up seeing 5 doe and a 4pt. All were just at last light. I was trapped in my stand for a while waiting for them to move on.

Pretty angry with myself. Hit a doe back. Arrow has dark blood. Giving her time.

Yup. If you are wrong and it's already dead that won't change overnight, but if you push and she isn't you will likely never find her.

He fed away from me into the willows. Closest I have ever been to having a crack at a mature buck when I had the right tag. Another smaller buck is working toward me, but I will probably run out of time be for he gets here.
