    Temps cooling off here in northern virginia. I work overnight and will be up in a tree tomorrow afternoon. 15 degrees cooler than last week at this time.

    I've had some cool encounters with raptors: owl nearly landed on my head, many red tail hawks landing on branches within feet and my favorite a red tail picking a squirrel off a nearby tree trunk with its talons and then, what best can be described as, body slamming it to the forest floor.

    Ol NAP spitfire doublecross laid her wide open... ol nanny broke my new arrow tho lol first time it been shot lol and i don't evens care.... perfect double lung shot just above the heart and she was slightly quartering away... and scent control sure does pay off... full story will come later.....
