    Ok boys,

How many of you spend the off season on hard water? If so, post pictures, stories, setups, and how/where you like to fish.

I personally spend every free second I have ice fishing, mainly fish for slabs and perch all over Minnesota and Wisconsin. I'm starting to get into more walleye and northern fishing, seems to be the thing to do here by my college.

    Let's hear it!

Great pictures Isaiah, looks to me like you still have plenty of room for a line to drop down in between your 4-pack in the ice.

My fiancee and I went ice fishing 2-3 weeks ago and limited out on Bluegill. I love ice fishing and spending time with my lady. Here is some pics from our recent trip. We don't have as much competition as you do Isaiah.

isaiah that is one big crappie!! we dont have anything near that size in minnesota. It looks like you guys know how to have a little fun on the ice.

I am sometimes guilty of heading out to the fishouse, inviting some friends and forgetting to put lines in the water, we have a good time out there!

If it swims I fish it. I target Lake Trout and big Pike. But I do fish alot of Waldos. Walleye and Panfish I fish around home (Central MN). Pike and Trout up north.

I target trout and walleye in the winter. Occasioinally crappies thru the ice. My honey holes for crappie are on unsafe ice. So they dont get pressured in the winter, however I hit em hard in the late fall/early spring.

Sweet! I'm headed out next weekend for the first time in many years to fish my my wife's cousin in a huge tournament in Upstate NY on Sacandaga Lake. We will be targeting big pike. He has caught about 15 fish in the last 10 years in the 22-28lb class, this lake has a TON of big fish in it, and still holds the North America record for pike. Can't wait!!

Nope I have this little lake called Ottertail you may have heard about. Its pretty much the only lake I fish Waldos on. Ive been trying to figure it out since the late 80's untill I do I'll stay fishing there. Some time you are in the hood let me know. I have a hot hole or 2 out there.

I did a lot of ice fishing as a kid growing up on Lake St. Clair, but now I prefer moving water that stays open year around. I did get out once this year though because my daughter wanted to go. It was a good time.

A decent pike she helped her uncle pull up.

Oh it is. When I first met my fiancee' she had zero idea what she was getting into. She is signed up for her hunter's safety course in March, is very excited for her first turkey season and enjoys getting out there on the ice. On top of all this, she wants to hunt exclusively with a bow. I guess I lucked out.

I have to admit I love ice fishing, probably because I catch more than Isaiah :)
that, and I actually can talk and move and not scare away all the fish, unlike sitting in tree stand! for me, just nice to be outside and enjoy the company! Definately looking forward to next bow hunting season and getting my first deer!
