I'm excited. Last season the biggest we saw was an 8. My brother-in-law has an 11 pt on camera. We've got about 6-7 bucks most are 6-8 pointers with that one 11 point. Provided they don't become nocturnal by Sept 12th, we should get ourselves a decent early season buck!

    I really like this one.

Tom the last one you did is good - Any way we can get the text a little clearer? Looks fuzzy but might be from my phone

I just received my weekly update and survey from National Deer Alliance (NDA).
I'm wondering how many on the team are members (membership is free) or even know about it?
If you want more info here's the link. http://nationaldeeralliance.com/
It's a great organization that unites all deer hunters and deer hunting related groups.

One of the poll questions they posed this morning was on average, "how often do you take a buck in your home area?"
On average, since I have become uber selective, I take a buck every other year or so. The last buck I took was in 2011 however, my target buck last year was killed by my BIL out of one of my best stands and later in the week I missed on a nice P&Y, actually just nicked him.
    That being said....I'm due!

I have heard about it but never looked it up. I will certainly check it out and join though.

I hope everyone is due this year lol. I haven't shot a buck in 4 years. Mainly because of having 3 babies and no time to hunt lol. Looking forward to this year though....

I put up over 200 points for my team last year.... Hopefully I can have another year like that.

Wow...that is great! I would be happy with 170. Living near the coast in S NC has it advantages and disadvantages. When it comes to hunting the main disadvantage is the sheer numbers of hunters and lack of good nutrition. Although we have nice deer around they are few and far between. Dog hunting rules the roost down this way and that presents a challenge in itself. I need to find a lease in Central & Northern NC. There is no dog hunting and they are knocking studs down year after year...

This is my first season bowhunting. I bought my bow mid-season last year and thought it wise to spend time practicing. I've rifle hunted my whole life but this year, I am only bowhunting. I have no idea how many points I'll bring in for the team, but hopefully I can bring down a decent buck. The second deer only counts as 50 points but I'd still like to get two bucks this year.

Looks fine the way it is. Can you incorporate "19" in to the logo?

I like the look of it as well. A 19 placed somewhere would make it complete - Text is still blurry for me, not sure why?

Not looking like I'll be getting out to hang my last stand until the 29th... Cutting it close but not much else I can do.

Starting to really think/plan what I'm going to do on opening weekend. I'll post a pic of my property tonight or tomorrow to get your guys opinions.
