I hope they update the scorecard soon. I want to see where we stand.

So do I! We have to be in the top three with all these entries.

The scorecard thread. Go back to the first entry. That's where the update the scores and even have a bar graph.

From my math, we should be well over 600. If not in the low 700's. I normally kill 2 good bucks a year in January, when our rut kicks in. We still have plenty of time. We are in this thing for sure

Almost pulled off a stalk on an 8 point yesterday. He came out into a field at 1230 with a bunch of does. Hard to get close enough for a shot due to him chasing a bunch. Eventually just disappeared.

In the afternoon I set up on the ground along the same field he was in. Came out around 430, but again, there was way too many eyes and he stayed at 50 yards.

Same thing tonight except in a tree. Plus tried to use my deer target as a decoy - that was a fail. Buck never showed and the does kept their distance.

Three more days. Let's hope I can fill both tags. If not, it'll have to wait until December.

Has anyone used the new Dead Down Wind, Evolved 3D? And if so, does anyone else think that it smells strange?

My wife's elbow is doing good. I'm all caught up on housework so I'll be heading to the stand in the morning.

Today was one of the best times I've had in the woods without killing anything. Saw one 6 point cruising, had a doe get so close I could drop an arrow on her head. Saw 12 other does besides her in four different groups. All on public land. Tomorrow starts two weeks of modern gun.

8 teams within 70 points of the leader, it's definitely going to be interesting. Hunting the rut in GA this weekend, past 5 does already this morning. Plan to sit all day
