For anyone that thought about coming but decided not to, let this thread tell the story of an EPIC "Fergus Bonfire" that you truly had to see to believe. Me and MOmighty pulled out of St. Louis 5:30 on Friday afternoon, and little did we know we were in for. It started off innocently enough meeting everyone when we arrived. Here is MOmighty and JFergus posing for a friendly picture. As the adult beverages kept flowing well past the beginning of a new day, JFergus challenges MOmighty to a friendly race as Buckeye lays down the rules for the competition. The competition consisted of swimming across the pond in the campground, followed by running back across the bridge to camp. Now mind you, Jim Fergus is the Micheal Phelps of bowhunting.com, so MOmighty had his work cut out for him. Here is a picture of the winner...but wait he's not wet? After Fergus found out that MOmighty didn't jump into the water, confrontation ensued...... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v493/mattyharge/DSCN0965.jpg Until Fergus ultimately threw in the towel. Meanwhile Dubbya was cruisin around on some kid's poor huffy while sevenmag decided to take a nap on the ground. A little later Dubbya was trying to impress the girls (even though there weren't any). By the time 3:30 rolled around, everyone headed to bed and got a few hours of sleep before heading to Coon Creek Hunt Club.
