    congrats doe patrol. My season kick off will be on sunday will be in pike and brown county. The week forecast looks warm but the property is real good hopefully will get an chance at a good one.

    I got it done tonight in South Dakota!

    I saw him with about 15 minutes of shooting life left. He was headed down the wrong trail with about 80 yards between us. I turned him around with one series of grunts and it made him rethink his route. After peeling back about 15 yards, I grunted at him again and got him to come running. At 10 yards away, I buried my arrow through his front quarter and into his heart.

    I'll get a score on him sometime this weekend. He's broke off on the one side, so I'm not sure what to expect.

    He officially went 137 1/8. He would have went 150 5/8 with everything (assuming he didn't have an 8 inch dropper on that side). I couldn't be happier with him! It'll just make it all the sweeter when I lay down a true 150.
