    I would think fox or even breitbart would cover it. I mean, One of their news articles right now is some dude wiping a snake of his windshield... surely this AOC story is better than that.

    Yep, $174,000 per year. That puts them in the top 5% of US income earners. And this wage was set in 2009...


    Term limits, salary freezes, make them eat their own dog crap (health care) without exception, and remove any and all special benefits they may receive.

    She's talking about raising income to keep things above the table. Problem is that there's ALWAYS going to be under table deals, or out on golf greens, or closed door deals. She's just as insane as the rest of them.

    If he is getting paid that much as a mayor, then it's a full-time position and he won't have time to be a legislator. Conflict of interest due to lack of time. Also, there's a conflict of interest due to he can introduce and vote on laws which favour himself and the municipality. Especially with being on the border of O'Hare Int'l.

    But, that's Chicago politics for you. Corruption at every level, and finding ways to take advantage of the system. One of the many reasons why I avoid that state like the plague... Had a good job opportunity in Chicago a few years back. But, turned it down without even a second thought.

    Though, it looks like there might be some hope...
