    I’m pretty sure I jumped the deer but I can’t find any blood. I’m going to head home and bring back my dog to see if he can pick up anything and give this thing time to expire.

    Age must be catching up with me. I got up to the 4:00 am alarm, walked out to the Keurig to make coffee, stood there for a minute and then just said “Screw this” and went back to bed.

    Didn’t wake up until 8:30.

    Lots of season ahead of me.

    Aint nothing wrong with doing the 10am to dark rut hunts. Sleep in, good food, and feel decent on stand. Deer movement is good mid-day and you don't have to kill yourself by lack of sleep.
