    Mud is downing some coffee and jumping into a tree this morning

    truck is loaded and ready to go.

    I just can’t find my rangefinder.

    I’m pretty good at judging yardage though. No excuses

    All set up… welcome to the **** show that is the PA opener around me…. Two cars here when I got parked. One was already in the other was a nice gentleman, discussed where each of us were going and walked in together… I get to my tree and am climbing and someone else walks up maybe 50 yards behind me and just decided to hang out even though I’m flashing him with the light obviously someone’s here… he didn’t seem to leave but his light went off…. Oh and now I’m smelling cigarette smoke…. Oh well going to try to not let this ruin my hunt, it’s a beautiful morning out

    Finally here!!waiting in daylight
    Must have had some Adrenalin flowing this morning. Got set up 15 minutes before I wanted to.
    Been enjoying the quietness for 45 minutes already.

    All set up, 40 minutes til day break

    acorns dropping about 40- 50 yards around me.

    45 degrees
    2 mph wind from the south.
    I should see deer here today. Usually I do on a south wind.

    Just got busted by a doe. I was at full draw for a while I thought I was clear to let down obviously not. The yearling is still wandering around. She had me pegged coming in maybe caught my wind or followed my trail in.
