Thanks guys! It was a fun sit. After that yearling doe came out on the field I couldn’t do much. There was a couple moving around behind me in the woods. When the doe/yearling group finally all made it to the field I was almost picked off. I was pinned down and facing the opposite direction the bucks were coming from. A smaller buck worked past me and I slowly managed to get turned enough to shoot. I could tell the buck was good enough and figured if he gave me a good shot I would take it. He didn’t go far. Thanks Jim! I don’t have any out of state hunts planned this year. I had to adjust my hunting schedule this year. I won’t have any time to hunt after this weekend until mid November. That was a factor in my decision to skip the contest this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
