Well, yes it does. We are starting out with french onion soup I just put on to simmer made with my garden red and white onions, garlic and spices. Of course a good splash of red wine. Then smashed taters, green beans from our garden. Sweet corn grown locally...thanks to raccoons..lol
Leaving the office in about 10 minutes to head to the stand! My landowner rides quads around all the time, and his son offered to drive me into my spot. First for everything, but I wonder if that will actually do more help than hurt since I won't be walking in during primetime, plus they seem to be used to it. Justin & Todd said it's too hot for them, but I'm yearning!

Here we go....made some slight adjustments for tonight. Hunting a strip of woods between the logging road where my normal bear stand is and a new field that we made this past year with the help of hurricane Helene. Everything is on the table tonight except young/small bucks. Good luck yall.
Back in the field, found a solid tree to climb, but once I got up, there way too much foliage for clean shots. So I’m on the ground hiding in some pricker bushes waiting for the ambush. Would have been real cool if my ozonics batteries didn’t decide to crap out two weeks again randomly.
