I feel better this morning. I was suffering from heat stress by the time we got that pig on ice. I was sitting on stand yesterday with sweat dripping off me and my Apple Watch kept buzzing. I looked at it and it was a high heart rate warning. Before the pigs showed up my heart rate was 120 just sitting. I was about to tap out when I heard them coming. I ate last night and severe indigestion set in so I went outside and made myself throw up. I got some rest last night but not a lot. Still, I feel a a lot better.
Congrats on the pig Chief, don't push it in that heat, the older we get the harder it is to deal with overheating. You need a day or 2 to get used to it again.
I know it! We’re taking it easy today to give mea a chance to recover. I’m about to go put my climber on a tree and get it set up for tomorrow morning. Then we’re going to go fishing for a while. After that I’m going to stay in camp this afternoon under the camper A/C. I’m not sure I’ll do another afternoon sit. It depends on how I feel.
My climber is on a tree and my pack is already up in the tree. Tomorrow morning I’ll be taking my bow out.
I have adopted this mindset in Ohio and alot of places here in Pa. I still get a handful of cams out on my farm, bc I enjoy seeing what’s on it.
People seriously suck. I enjoy running cameras just as much as I enjoy hunting. Would be tough for me to give them up. Going in blind with the unknown factor would be very cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
