He retired from teaching last year so no time for us now, lol. Hoping all is well with him. Hopefully we hear from him soon since the season here in MI opens tomorrow. Although like others, it is hot out
I'll be on stand this evening 80+ temperature! Tomorrow morning also! Good luck to those trying to kill today!
I’ll be throwing up a set today so I can get out Wednesday/thursday. The East wind is the worst wind for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Called it a morning at 9:00. Back on WiFi, here's our case so far. All these have been found on our place here in E Tenn over the last couple years.
Our season begins tomorrow and we've got an east wind the next 3-4 days. I really don't have a stand up that works well for that. Probably have to ground pound it tomorrow. Good luck to you! Sent from my SM-S916U1 using Tapatalk
My brother found this one on a dig along the Schuylkill River in Conshohocken, Pa. It looks striking similar to the one you shared.
Once again no deer moved there by the camera. I have to stop going there too much, so I pulled the climber and moved it about 100 yards east to the east edge of the little grass opening. I’ve always wanted to sit there to see what lives on the other side of the road. Also, if the buck walks in front of the camera I’ll have a heads-up because he will be headed my way. I wanted to hunt this afternoon but they’re forecasting a high of 89 which means it will feel like 100+. No thanks. Also, I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning so it may be Thursday morning before I get back out.
Tomorrow guys, so dry here. The leaf fall isn't normal. They are shriveled up, dried up crunch bombs. I just had to get the small leaf blower out and take a quick hike with the boys. I did from bouse down through the woods paths to numerous blinds and stands. I even went down the hill to first tree blind. Well I'm sure that ticked off the nieghbors, Oh well. I got down to the streams and discovered a 2ft wide x 70ft tall yellow wood up footed and across 3 of the streams . The top landed rt on my only trail to blind over a stream. That gave me some detour work to do and managed to clear a round about to get back on trail. I obviously have no morning plans out there seeing the dogs had a run about as well. Oh tons of acorns dropping on oaks there. Card pull shows a little issue for my morning plans. Lots of buck but they are there 1a.m. through 8a.m. Which means also there as I'm trying to get to and settle in the blind an hour before legal.
Well everyone! I'll be in the stand in a little while here. Even though the forecast is calling for it to top out @83, I have a good feeling Big Bertha is going to pay me a visit!
Just got to parking lot. Be hiking in soon. Killing a buck tonight Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
