Then I would just duplicate as much as you can control and hope for the same outcome + a kill.

First weekend of season here, not even going to request off work in hopes of going. Lows are high temps we would ***** about during the rut.......

Sit water, I had two does come into a pond Saturday afternoon with 30 minutes of light left. It was 85*, unfortunately, I missed low at 40 yards.

I've actually been thinking about that. There's a pond right on the edge of the neighboring property. And conveniently enough, the property I'm on is loaded with acorns.

That sounds like a first sit kill scenario, especially if you are just looking to kill a doe. Would have worked for me and my son the other night if I had made a slightly better shot. Would have been definite kill if I had been by on my own and in the tree that would have given me a 10 yard broadside shot.

Well all set up for the evening, scouted a bunch and found one really good set up for a W wind. Got a camera hung, pulled another camera and wanted to move it elsewhere then scout and set up for the evening, as luck would have it the other spot I didn’t end up getting back to. 80 degrees has me sweating my butt off but I found a heavy trail in some thick cover and am set up on it. Have a few oaks dropping near me. But there are acorns everywhere. Think I was too loud on the way in since I was getting somewhat discouraged with the heat and not getting to the spots I wanted to be

I couldn’t get on the site the past few days. I forgot my password and got locked out when using my phone. Congrats to the killers. Still able to get on through my tablet.
