A deer came in through the thick cover. I never saw it but I could hear it about 35 yards out. It got downwind and it was over. It took off blowing down the valley.
Now the rain is coming in, this will help when i leave, nice and quiet Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Took me a lot longer than planned to trudge through the swamp and cattails. In my rut stand just to check things out. I forgot how thick it is in here when everything is alive and leaves are still on. Honestly don’t have much hope but you never know. Passed this deer out of this stand on this same day last year. Not gonna lie, thought about how good those tendies would be, just can’t bring myself to shoot something with spots on it. She hung around and even gave a little “maaa”, then chilled under my tree smelling my pee for 20min…weirdo.
Doe and fawn skirted me at 60. Unknown deer sneezing in the thick bedding. Another unknown walking about 40yds away in the thick buckthorn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can hear deer moving on both sides of me but they’re way out. Just in case anyone wonders why they can get so close without me seeing them: I don’t have any fields or edges. It’s all gnarly.
Doe 2 fawns and a spike just came out of the bedding where I heard the sneezing. Went by at 30yds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
