Little over a week away from opening day. I shot my broad heads today. the new set up is hitting where my field points are hitting. grim reapers are ready to fly. Got the itch for sure
If it's not one thing it's another. First it was the heat. Now it's the rain. The rain is supposed to stop tomorrow morning and the temps are supposed to drop. Below is what I accomplished where stands are concerned. Somewhere in that evolution I pulled a muscle on my right side. At least I think that's what it is. It's a sharp, intense pain anytime I move. When I cough the pain is similar to the pain I felt when I broke my ribs. It's a surface pain though: Either in the muscles or in the ribs. Since I know it's just pain and nothing serious I won't let it stop me. Anyway, I pulled one of my climbers from my property across the road and put it on the new 560 acre place in a spot that @virginiashadow recommended I check out. It's a great looking spot. I also moved the stand I've been sitting in a little farther south were I've seen deer ghosting through. I'll sit there tomorrow morning and then I'll move to the new spot tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping for a birthday deer tomorrow. It sure would be nice. Maybe then @MUDSHARK would stop ragging on me.
I'm hoping next weekend has some decent temps. I'll likely wait until Saturday at the earliest and Monday the latest to have a go at opening weekend here. Work is so damn busy right now that hunting in 80 degree temps doesn't even sound relaxing. Heck, haven't even bought my tags or habitat stamp yet, but that will soon change.
Anyone know what's up with @Swamp Stalker? Won't even let you tag him, not sure if that's due to no activity or not. Surely hasn't been since early last November has it?

Haven’t been “in” the property since July 12th. Been out a few times on the edges with no deer killed. Went out today and replaced the batteries in all cameras and moved them to fall spots. Lost one Tactacam to a woodpecker getting the lens… can’t even remember how many I’ve lost now something like 4-6 cameras. 2 of my non cell cams had 0 pics on the cards. Must not have been formatted right (both cameras dead). Chaps a guys ass bad. Try to stay out and get the shaft. This is also killing me.
