Was going to get up in my stand but the movement is about 60yds below it so I’m just standing against a tree with one in front of me. Snow is dug up the whole way in where they have been looking for something to eat. Should have brought my chair. Same schedule as OND.
I’m up for the afternoon sit. I’m revisiting the lock on that overlooks the grsss field. I haven’t been here in over a month. It’s almost the only stand that is set up for a south wind.
Setup in a bottom. Jumped what looked like 2 does and 3 bucks. Not sure if I will see anything but gained more Intel coming down here
Were they close enough to tell if any of the bucks were potential shooters? Nice that you're seeing some deer either way.
I’ve been shooting again and my bow has a clank upon drawing. Took it to the shop and they did a few things to try to fix my issue. They even called warranty dept at Mathew’s. , they advised one thing and it still is doing it. Called Mathew’s again and they are sending 2 new cams. I bought new cables and strings. The cams will be here by Friday. Can’t wait. Indoor leagues start in January. 2 nd season starts the day after Christmas. Family get together is Saturday the 27th. I’ll. Start back up on Monday 29.
hey mama nature, whats up with Fridays weather ..... high 30's/40's most of the week, then high winds and 20 degs as the high on Friday !? .. then 48deg on Sat and strong S/SW winds again ?? ..... come on girl cooperate will ya ..... if thats the case for Fri., then I'm hibernating that day ... maybe sit Sat. even with the strong winds ? .... hate to do a AM hunt Sat., but ive got my darn 12hr shift on Sun. again and I dont like hunting Sat. afternoons on those days as if I get a deer in the late afternoon or have to track, it really f's with my sleep/4 Am wake up for work on Sunday ..
Back at the house. Didn’t see anything. I’ll go back in the morning. It’s a better morning stand anyway.
