I’m down and back at the house. Nothing sighted this afternoon.

I’m kind of glad. I don’t have a garage to skin/quarter in. I do it outdoors in the back yard.

Skinning/quartering outside in sub freezing weather is not one of my favorite things to do.

I’m also glad, for you…. To not have to skin in the cold. No other reason at all…

    I’m sure.

I’m not going out in the morning. The wind is going to be wrong for just about every stand I have out.

Plus, it’s going to be super cold and while I can do it I see no need to suffer for one.

So shoveled for another two hours then pulled card . I need to get out there this afternoon I would have taken a 4 point that showed yesterday but also had several doe and fawn. These but one is a 10 pt. I believe . Big buck where there just after and just before hunting hours.

So I went out and grabbed my target/ bolt release, snows getting deep and I put it infront of garage. I have a huge snow pile behind the target. Walk out 15 yrds free hand and shoot release bolt DEAD CENTER! Mind you shoveled 2 hrs and my arm was not what one would call steady. That 20 yrd line was " floating". I hunt from a tripod rest. There should be NO ISSUES!. Nearly no wind and it's out of the West which blows from field to me. Game on in a little bit.

There's a good buck out there with YOUR name on it! Just curious, are New York State antler restrictions WMU specific?

    Yes
I spooked a fawn as I came in. From tracks after today's snow fall it was alone.

I cant hunt without them. One item i wont hunt without. I use them nonstop to scan thickets and look for deer.
