Thanks guys. I changed into some older layers and I’m about to go get them.

    Let the fun begin.

Congrats on the doe(s) LC! I saw nothing in my hunt this evening. Back out tomorrow evening. Temps will be brutal, single digits!

Nothing after the does. They never got closer than 150 before it got dark.

Ummm, "hunt or burn" isn't exactly what I would call motivational. That falls more in the category of coercion.

I got them both skinned, cut up and in a cooler. I usually put the deer I kill here in our fridge for a few days, but it's 24 degrees right now on its way down to a low of 14, so I just put some ice on top of them to help with the intial cool-down and I'll let the temps take care of the rest.

It's not even supposed to get up to freezing tomorrow so there's no rush.

I really wanted to be out there tomorrow morning, but nah. I need to wash the layers I was wearing as well as the gloves and the outer layer. I'll do that tomorrow and get back out tomorrow afternoon.

Man, does it feel good to kill again.

I posted this pic in the bet thread, but thought I’d add it here.

It was a busy day today, but it was a good day.

The only difference between motivation and coercion is the tone in which it is delivered.
