I’m back in a tree. What a temp swing. High of 50 today.

I’m in a different spot that has had good deer and turkey movement on camera.

Im trying something I’ve always wanted to try. I brought a turkey decoy with me. I’m hoping the longboard that keeps walking through here will show up and the decoy draws his attention long enough for me to get drawn.

Does anyone know what this domed, black stuff is? I'm hoping maybe OND might know. When I stuck it with a stick it collapsed and a thick black cloud of what resembled smoke came from it. It looks like a pile of cow poop before it's deflated. I've seen these before, but never knew what they were.

In Arkansas, I would say that is a fire ant hill after a rare frost.

Puff ball mushroom. Come up white then turn black when they die. Step on one and a puff of black spores go poof...

Lots of tracks in the snow. Last year this spot had deer moving through regularly. But they seem not to want to use it this year. I need to get a stand up about 50yds behind this one. They are using this little funnel behind me at some point. I’ll get some camera out go intel for the next year. I may set up with crossbow on the ground. For late season.

Yup, what Bone Head said. Puff ball mushroom. Be careful with them, believe they make be poisonous. Dont think the spores will poison anything, but maybe if eaten.
