I’ve been back out for a little while now. I don’t expect much due to the full moon but you can’t kill them from the recliner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Live from my truck is almost done being fixed. This is from the deer I hit on my way home after hunting on November 3rd this fall going 70 mph. He was a goofy racked buck that did some very impressive damage to my two month old truck. I put his rack on a plaque downstairs along with the rest of the other mounted deer. Thought I would share it with all of you.
Wow that’s some serious damage. Good thing it was new or they may have totaled it. Cool looking buck. He may have been hit before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Glad you weren't injured, looks like you could have been. Unreal repair costs! That reminds me of one of my trips up to the Edmonton Bow zone. Me and my guide were driving down a road in the middle of nowhere just after dark, when we saw an almost brand new Chevy Silverado stopped on the road with steam coming from the front end. I mean this truck was destroyed, a total wreck. I couldn't get over the damage done to it! Thankfully, the driver wasn't hurt. We stopped and asked what happened, and he said a huge buck ran out in from of him chasing a doe. We asked where the buck was and he said it just kept running!
I built this blind from an old a freight crate, cardboard tarp and scrap wood. That was back when my kids were in high school. Man I've taken a lot of critters from this blind. Hopefully one more tonight.
It’s 39° & I’m in the stand…I need a blind buck with a broken nose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes indeed but here's the thing, I sit smack dab between where they bed and where they want to feed, farm fields. In the summer through fall I have giant berry patches, stinging nettles, poke weed and a grass they love. Past hunters planted it for turkey. I've taken most of my turkey from here.
