Sorry to hear that VT. Sending prayers your way that surgery goes well and you have a quick recovery.
Brother, as bad as this is, you are healing. Multiple things are being fixed and healed and you will prob kill a 150 next year. HA
Sorry to hear this VT. I can relate to what your going through. As we age these things creep up on us and get in the way of our passions. Ill be praying that you heal quickly and come out the other side in good health to pursue the things you love to do.
I know the surgery feeling from this past Oct. .... .. you'll get back to a tree soon enough .. all the best ..
Dang John, I’m sorry to hear this. I hope they get you back up on your feet in short order and I hope you heal up soon. Take care of yourself buddy.
I discovered the first disadvantage to heated socks this afternoon. I was wearing uninsulated hiking boots and while they worked really well they left a bit to be desired. I switched to light insulated waterproof hunting boots and my feet sweated walking in I suppose. Then the heated socks compounded the problem and while my left foot was fine, the right side of my right foot was very uncomfortable. I honestly couldn’t tell if my little toes were freezing or burning. When I got home I found the problem. The toes of the heated socks, especially the right one, were wet with sweat and since I only had them on level two the cold was more than the heat could overcome. So, back to the uninsulated hiking boots I go.
That is a beautiful pic. I’m sure its more beautiful than I can see since I’m colorblind, but it’s fantastic.
I love snapping pics of sunrises, sunsets and the moon while I’m hunting. This one I took in Kentucky years ago is probably the best one:
Can’t tell you how many meteors (or maybe space debris burning up) I’ve watched, looking up into the sky before day breaks.
