    We have a 100-acre farm in Belmont which is where this buck was shot. Our other farm is18 miles farther southwest in Monroe County. EHD hit both this year.

    I hunted Tuscarawas county when I was hosted in Ohio a number of years ago. I saw more deer in one day there than I see in a week hunting in Pa. :lol:

    So your a little south east of where I'm at. We did not have the EHD outbreak up our way. Hope your area recovers quickly from that.

    Yes, there are a lot of deer in T-county, lol. Although this year my season isn't showing it. I just can't seem to get a deer worth shooting in daylight. I'm hoping the late season is good to me cause I don't gun hunt so I pick and choose my days in the late season and I only hunt evenings in the late season as well.

    Awesome shots and great bucks to both @dmax4me and @S.McArthur!

    @LittleChief if I was in your situation I think that I’d probably sit that stand at least 1 more time and if he does the same thing move in to kill him. I’ve found this time of year the bucks can be very, very susceptible to calls so a doe bleat or 2 and a couple soft grunts could put him right in your lap. Good luck sir!

    Congrats on a very nice critter dmax4me, well worth the work you put in for it.... well, I'll get back out finally this Fri/Sat (weather permitting), last weekend of gun season (I'll be bow of course)... wonder whats left on the place ? ... Indiana is sitting at 80,446 total taken so far, all seasons, all weapons ....
