I just had a 6 point and a spike come in and they kept sparring. Then a goofy looking 3 point came in and the 6 point ran him off. Hopefully, the horn tickling will bring in something bigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got out early for once, get everything set, go to grab my release, not there. I keep it on my D loop, (stupid) so maybe it fell off when I hit a couple branches pulling it up. Nope. I walk back to he barn and there it is. So I end up being set up the same time as usual. I usually have an extra in my back pack but I don’t right now. Lesson learned
that's the WORST.. I just did it recently too.. made it worse I decided to hike to the farthest stand on the property too
There must have been a big fight on my lease last night. Two of the bigger bucks that run it showed up on cam last night and they are both broke up.
The gusty winds will keep me out again today. Calling for 25mph with higher gusts possible. I've lost track of how long this has been going on now. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll quiet down some, so I can maybe do an evening hunt. Tomorrow looks much better. I honestly can't remember high winds lasting as long (three weeks) as these winds have, ever.
