    Saw 3 more right at dark. Unfortunately they saw me too. 2 does and a big bodied white horned toad. They came out of the thicket and must have picked me off. Cause i never had a chance to even raise my gun before they went right back in.

    Had a small 8 ptr walk by the stand I was in 2 minutes after shooting light.

    The buck I shot/ lost this AM was a freaking toad. Heavy 9+ non typical, never seen him on cam before (we have this 40 SOAKED) and he came in chasing a doe. I put it right inside his front shoulder and pinned it, he couldn't move that leg . He hobbled off out of sight then on blood for hundreds of yards but just a drop hear and there.
