Sat from noon til dark and only saw two doe that were together at 3:30pm. What was odd was they came running throught the woods towards me, but on an angle quarting to my right. I fully expected a buck to be following, but never saw one. Have no idea why they were running. A day seeing any deer is a good day in my woods!
My daughter got her first deer today. Shot at 3:45 pm. Would have been an 8 point but the one side is broken off
