    It’s November 15th and it’s 50 degrees in central MN. This **** ain’t right, but I ain’t complaining. Best friend is under the weather (I assume he had too many Busch lights yesterday). Headed into the swamp.

    I had chasing going on to my east for 5 minutes about 15 minutes before daylight and now nothing. Maybe they’ll come back.

    I also had to brake for a half rack 3 pt and 2 raccoons. Not a lot of shots, yet, skwirls are making a ruckus.

    Few shots in the surrounding valleys. Just a few squirrels so far.

    I had one chase a doe under my stand. She surprised me and I started to draw cause I knew something was chasing her…arrow wasn’t on the string and quickly fumbling, I knocked the arrow off. Tink. Onto the stand and he was gone.

    Had another time, this great 8 pt came running at full bore down a trail. Ended up I led him too much and missed with the .44… but I got up in a few seconds after the shot to see if there was blood…no sooner stood up and a yote ran down the same trail after the deer. Didn’t even have time to react. Still trying to figure out if/how a lone yote would have a mature buck at full run, a farmer’s dog comes running after the yote… missed the deer, got a free show.
