Little forky came in and hung out, right as I was about to pack up. Might stay a bit. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
I don’t need to know your exact spot, but how far north in Missouri are you? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm curious on your thoughts... I shot my doe early and she was dang near tick free This buck is crazy packed in them . I had to spend several minute scaping engorged ticks off his belly and under arms just to be able to run the knife down to gut him. They are EVERYWHERE and theres untold seed ticks as well. I just got out of an hour soak in bath tub, I'll be itching for weeks Anyways why the difference between the buck and doe in same area
I’ve never had a deer that loaded with ticks. I’ll be interested to hear what everybody else says. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Buck spends more time bedded or travel in (tick infested) areas, would be my guess. I see more does bedded near me in conifers, perhaps the turpines from the pines repel ticks…?
Please don't tell Greta Thunberg about ticks in NY, in Nov. She will show up and roll around in the ticks just prove global warming.
