    Back put me out of commission for afternoon hunt. Resting up and putting down 500k calories so I can drag a 250lb buck out of Southern Indiana tomorrow.

    Heading back out in the morning. Going to be hunting deep in the bottoms along a river. Hoping a big one has a doe pinned down in there! A man can hope right.

    I waited until 15 mins before close and take down my crossbow unload it put on strap and put my quiiver on. I'm facing away from window. I look up and out pops a fawn then another and mom 15 yrds So I wait ,it's really dark now. Then a pie pan from the garden catches the wind and they take off....note to self......

    Crazy night, no shooters. Bucks all over goin ham, grunting and chasing like mad. I’ll be in same spot early tom am. Does are popping and I’m here for it! Saw 6 bucks and handful of doe.

    depending on the property of course/availability of larger bucks, etc., I'd kill him on the state land I hunt in a heart beat ..
