I really wish you could come for a few days and teach me to hunt, the amount of bucks you are onto within hours of driving into a state is insane.
If you want to lose gear, shoot high on bucks, and hear me complain about something, sure im your man. Ha
I Need help with this guy, he only hangs out by my stand when I'm at work. Im sure he'll get wacked during gun season, but oh well. He's the second biggest I've ever had the chance to chase. Fairly nocturnal, but in the last couple weeks hes ventured out right at dusk.
Good luck! @virginiashadow you sound like me. My first sit of the year I went through the gates of hell getting to where I wanted to be only to get set up right before shooting light and pull my bow up with no quiver on it. Never did find the damn thing.

Another late night. My uncle got this one last night. He’s been waiting awhile for another deer of this caliber and he puts in the work. Happy for him and happy the big boys are starting to move!
Some of you may have heard this story in the water cooler but im just thinking of it again and laughing. We had this real high intensity former Marine on my 1st patrol squad. This guy was driving around one day when he saw what he thought were a bunch of Mexican guys skinning a dog in their backyard. Backyard was surrounded by a shantytown fence of 50 different materials. So this cop goes up to the fence and is spying on these guys...and he is furious. LOL. He leans in to look through a hole in the fence and puts pressure on the fence. Down it goes like dominoes. Entire fence evaporates. So like 6 guys are sitting there staring at a hyped up former Marine cop ready to hurt the dog murderers...turns out they were just skinning a deer out of season. So both groups kind of tipped their hats and said hey I won't tell you for destroying our makeshift fence if you won't get us for the out of season deer. He nodded at them and then took off! LOL
