Just catching up (takes forever) on all of the posts, my PC has been down for a couple days.

Congrats on an awesome buck! You earned it! :tu:

The 20-30mph wind is why I'm not in the woods. The wind chill is in the 20's right now, my 68 year old bones can't deal with that anymore.

Pulled cam card at garden lots of pics a nice 8pt, spike plus unknowns and a doe I could have shot this morning.
The buck in pic I believe is the car struck one. Look at shoulder/ neck. What do you think . That is the side they would have gotten as he crossed from plot/ pines

2 basket racks and a fawn. Back at it this afternoon. Wind was picking up.

I'm down. Even though I wasn't out in the wind like yesterday morning, it seems colder than yesterday. Gonna drive into town and get some food. We'll think about what to do for afternoon

Hard to tell from that pic, but it looks like something is going on with his neck.

The wind ended my all day sit yesterday, and it's much worse today! I'll be back at it tomorrow, with more reasonable temps and wind speeds.

Yah having to do screen shots to get pics sucks...lol
He's talking about finally getting a new computer. Of course my cheapness doesn't help. The cam was 35 dollars and has been out for 3 yrs. It's finally starting to shut down. I lost the time/date stamp and night pics at any distance are getting grainier and grainier. I can tell time on info but it won't display on pic.

I’m back at the house. Took dog to last blood then it seemed he got on another deer track with no blood but really couldn’t say for certain at the time because it snowed right at 9 when we went back in. I followed the dog while my son and uncle grad searched another area. With the fresh snow it put a damper on things. Must have been a single lung, I never found any beds when I initially looked. Walked about 2 miles looking. I hate not recovering deer. I’m not sure if I’m going back out before Saturday gun opener or not. Good luck the rest of you that are still at it.

Guys and gals, I love spending my time with you all during the season. The highs and lows, the thrill of the hunt, the anticipation, and just everything that goes with it. It just makes my whole year complete. I just wanted let you all know how much it means to me. God bless each and every one of you!

Just got set up in a tree to bowhunt for the rest of the day. Had a spike go by at 45 yards while I was climbing the tree. I have killed a couple of does out of this tree in years past and seen multiple bucks.

SW wind in my face, creek at my back. It is go time.
