Sub 30 here too… temps should bottom around 25, but 8-15kt breeze is gonna make this extra interesting. Saw nothing moving on the drive here, not full moon, very dark and clear. Headed in.

Was pulling my bow up and heard foot steps coming my way. Release still in pocket I was able to get it out and on. Got what looks to be a good shot off while the deer left the scrape. Good mule kick. Going to wait a bit I’ll keep you all posted.
I’m all set up. It might be 20 degrees on top of the ridges but when I dropped off into the valley on the ride in it was colder.
Nope not today I have chunks and blood, so this is breaking up. Maybe the Doxycycline I took for the tick bites is helping this lung stuff too. Snowed throughout the night and pretty breezy 20 degrees. Just a tad too rough Good luck guys
