That is a big girl! Congrats. That'll make the property owner happy too. Win win.

Congrats! Did you happen to see Doe you grazed the other day? You need to put a camera out there, take inventory.

I was kinda wondering, being the property owner got a bit curious early on, whether he'd have a soft spot once he seen a deer dead.

I had a lady give me permission to hunt just a few acres behind her house, because the deer were eating up her hostas that she put a lot of time into. I killed the biggest doe of my life (149lbs dressed) there. When she saw that deer she said, "imagine how many of my hostas that thing ate", kill some more.

Edit: When I took that doe to the butcher, he said it was one of the biggest he's ever had brought into his shop. He's been butchering for a long time.

Whatever happened to cheap stands and sticks? I know inflation and all, but good grief.

I want to leave a stand on public, but even with locks I don't trust humans. Even the cheap route is expensive, should be here tomorrow or Wed.

Actually I believe i did. Saw a lone doe cross a opening in the thicket. Got the binos on her and she was walking with a slight limp in right front leg. Which would have been the leg i hit. She was by herself.

I saw 3 bucks just before dark including a real good one but they were too far off. Hopefully tomorrow they come out a little earlier.
