Back in the ol bear stand tonight. Haven't sat here in over a month. Big front moving in tonight, hoping they're up and moving before dark because of it. Got the bow with me as well just in case a nice buck cruises by....

Back in at the deep woods stand. A little late again. Been snowing and then raining all day. Let up a little on the way in. Very noisy from all the water falling off the trees. Everything will be based on motion this afternoon. Hopefully they are hungry after being bedded all day. 35, wet and no wind. Good luck everyone.

I just had 5 Longbeards come within 8 yards of my hay bale blind. Pretty cool![IMG]

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I am tired and have no worries at all.

Except which stand to be in Tuesday.
    Good luck crew!

We’ll, I fell into the Comcast modem activation hole, so I can’t post on the regular forums until Tuesday.
I knew it wasn’t going to be simple for someone with limited tech skills.

I just had a basket rack 7 come by at 25 yards. I’m seeing the young bucks but not the mature ones.

This shack has been out here for ages but I’ve never sat in it. Not expecting anything but you never know. Saw 3 different bucks cruise this easement road yesterday morning.

Just happy im out of the 30mph wind gusts. Does smell like mouse **** and piss tho.

Snowing at a good clip. Deer should be moving in first snow of the year.

Best of luck to all who shoot 2 blades. Good choice to all who shoot 3 blades!

That 7 point has a doe locked down up on the ridge. I was watching him chase her for several minutes and when I turned back there was a basket rack 8 point standing 30 yards from me. There getting bigger.

I am up in the same cove of a dry lake bed as Saturday. Rifle and bow with me. If the wind dies down the last hour of daylight, I will be golden. NW at 15-20mph gust. Scrape 50 yards west of me. Trying to thread the needle with the scrape and the lake shore. If they hit the field to my right, I am golden. If they come in from the cypres side, it is iffy. Oh well, I am up. Bow or rifle, I would love to fill this last permit tag tonight.

Made it back to town, I’m in the stand. Trying to hold on with this “slight” gale that’s blowing.

    Good Luck, everyone!!

Doing an all day sit tomorrow. I have to wait until Tuesday to get back online with my PC though.

Litte more than an hour left. Hoping the wind will die down soon. It is perfect when it is not gusting.
