    finally got into one of my favorite locations, killed a nice buck there in '22 .. had 5 different bucks come by at one time or another, one was a shooter (to me) 8 pt (115"ish)... just too far at 46 yds and moving .. the others were well under 30 yds + 1 doe also ... good sit, unfortunately the wind is switching and I cant get back to it tomorrow (sat.) .. I'll be back out for a AM sit tomorrow, cant do the PM ...

    that's a great looking dog. Probably get me a GWP in about 2 years, just before I retire so I can really train and work with it.

    this old bastard just showed back up in WI after exactly a year hiatus. He was a homebody all summer in 2024, then I saw him on the hoof in my headlights on November 7 as I was returning to camp after a run into town. Never got another pic of him, although the neighbor did in early December. This has me really re-thinking the rest of my next 2 week plans...
