My neighbor shot a doe this morning at 0707 hours Found it within 37 minutes & the coyotes had already gotten to her....crazy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good work snuff! I'm all set, temps dropping and snow expected tomorrow, decoy out and looking as pretty as she can be. Let's have a good night! Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
Think I’m watching a mink now? Thought it was another small fisher but this thing is hunting things underwater. Frogs or small minnows jumping everywhere. 6 bucks probably snuck by while I’m watching this thing hunt in this drainage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
All set up on the ground in my ghillie suit. Had a big one come over here last night, as well as does. I’ve got 2 doe tags, 2 either sex tags, 2 turkey tags, and patience that’s growing thin. Borrowed my brothers ravin this week while he’s out of town. Hoping for things to get western here.
Thanks! Turkeys with a bow have been tough for me in the fall, had a nice flock come through. Nice to get redemption from earlier in the week. This one flopped down right there. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
Up for the evening. @Jezzy670 and I are sitting about 50 yards a part covering a cove that goes into a dry lake bed. Deer bed in the thick brush that has grown in the lake bed. Trail camera showed does and a big 9 point come through yesterday afternoon in daylight and the does again this morning. Wind is perfect, just need something to come through before dark.
Had a shootable Doe come running into 40yds, completely downwind of me. She froze up at 40 and either just stood there or made circles. She eventually pointed herself straight up the hill and walked straight away from me. I like them 30 and under so no shot opportunity for me. 35min left, let's see what happens.
Didn't particularly like either spot I scouted today. Trying to mentally bite the bullet and just buy an Illinois tag. Liquid courage may be needed.
About 90 minutes left, nothing so far but don’t really expect movement until the last 45 minute or so when it is 75* in November.
