One other thing of note. While they say there is a booner behind every tree here, that remains a myth. One thing that has been proven as fact, behind every steering wheel there is an idiot. They'll brake for a red light a mile up the road, if a truck has a long trailer with multiple pieces of lawn equipment, he will be in the fast lane doing 5 under and turn signals apparently are not required until the steering wheel has already started turning.

He made a big loop and came back out to scent check the swamp. Entered the thick stuff about 100yds to my NW. I’ve got a steady 10-15mph NNW wind and he started blowing around 60yds. No way he smelled me. Maybe he could see me and I couldn’t see him. Didn’t hear him take off or anything.

Definitely on a mission to find a hot doe.

30 minutes of light rain, feels like 33 degrees, and 10-20mph NNW winds have me pretty cold right now. Need my bigger boots rest of this weekend.

Im back home empty handed. Not a thing seen or heard but I obviously haven't been there when the deer were. Sign everywhere all around me. I hate empty sits. Gimme something, even a distant doe. Sheeeeyit

Between cameras and visual sightings, 8 fawns without a doe with them..... safe to say, the lock down phase is happening in Wisconsin.

Scouted back to the trucks, blew the head off a Cottonmouth that I almost stepped on. Scouting a new spot for the evening hunt.

Gunna climb down to the base of my tree at noon to eat some lunch. This wind is starting to eat through me a bit.

Last night on our property we had 3 shooters, last time we had any was 3 days ago so looks like they are coming off the cheap date does and are on to the more hard to get.

had mosquitoes in WI yesterday. No ticks at least. I can handle West Nile, don't want nothing to do with Lyme or AGS.

Turkey pepperoni, cheese it’s, wheat thins, and peanut butter pretzel balls. Burger and a beer sound pretty good but it will do.
