    Drove past that property again, since I don't have anything to do on the single best day to be in the woods. No one hunting, no live deer seen.

    Seen a huge doe road kill, if I did not get a clear lool at her head would have sworn it was a capped buck.

    Got to 47yds and hung up behind some willows. Gave him a few light grunts and he didn’t seem to like that. Slowly walked back into the swamp.

    I'll be in the VT woods. Not as many deer, but I did shoot a nice 8pt in VT last year. Im not giving up, just not happy about not being in NJ where there are lots of deer and bigger antlers. I'll put something down here soon.
