Not good. Found my arrow, no blood. Its broken. So dont know if i hit shoulder or a branch. About 4 inches of arrow broken off front.

It was a group of 4 big does. After i shot they all ran off together. Then 15 minutes later they circled and came back out about 75 yards away. Still 4 of them. Dont know what to think other than this sucks!

It’s only one picture and doesn’t include the animal. She’s also not in the contest!

That sucks. I almost got a doe on the way to work earlier this week.

Wow! Looking at that car, I'm glad it wasn't a big buck. Most importantly, your wife is okay.

All set up with an hour and a half until daylight. Got acorns dropping all around me, soft bumped a mom and two little ones about two hundred yards from the stand. Found two scrapes opened up on the way in here. Feels nice I haven’t been running a camera in this area this year so no idea what’s in here, with the amount of acorns on the ground there has to be some deer in here. The oaks are pretty wide open but I’m set up at the edge of a pine thicket, the other side of the oaks is about three hundred yards away, it goes into a standing corn field, nice and cool here this morning but going to be warm later on. Good luck out there today guys and gals!!! Shoot straight!

Doing a semi-urban hunt this morning, shooting does only probably. Haven't taken a deer over here in a couple years, so hoping to change that. I'll have a 2 minute walk in, lol. I'm being lazy on opening day, gimme a break.

Almost time. Acorns showering down, birds waking noisily, damn boys and girls. It's deer season!

1000001959.jpg Rather exciting walk in, then exactly at shoot time the spike showed up at 2o yrds. 10 mins later he came back. Just now another spike walked by at 12 yrds gotta go.
