I’ve been back on stand for about an hour. Same place as this morning due to east winds. Good luck PM shift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In honor of Selfie Sunday and I'm back in for two hours this afternoon. Didn't have time to get to the deep woods stand so here I sit at the Creek Foodplot. This is where I shot my 200lb 8pt last November 4. Good luck everyone!
Later than I hoped but we are in by the scrape I mentioned earlier. About 60 yards away on the transition line between the oa flats and a cypress swamp. Scrape is to the NW and we have a NNW wind. Deer, mostly does and a spike were on the camera at 6:45a, 8:15, am, 9:40a, and 11:30a.
Heres the deal, hubby is major sick, so MISERABLE!. He and I'm sure Typhoid Mary at the drug store, behind perscription counter, gave me something. Itchy dry cough and sore throat, rubber glue..etc. Made a big pot of onion, wild leek and garlic soup we are having now to help kick it's butt Good luck tonight guys.
Set up in a big funnel. Had 4 bucks cruising this AM past my other evening spot but with this wind I can’t hunt it. Safe to say it’s that time of the year for some little lady down there. First one is on the kill list for sure.
Hope you all feel better soon. Sounds like that soup maybe the best choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Been in for a half hour - 30 minutes later than I wanted. Fixed a camera and looked for my arrow from last Sunday. I didn't find it. Vermon- congratulations to your boy. Let's help the automotive insurance companies save some money. My friend Toodles needs blood pics.
Well, I've let this non-typical 6pt go three different times, three days in a row. Twice at 10yrds! But, this 8pt is the one I'm holding out for. Doing another dark to dark tomorrow, it's the only way I can know for sure if the 8 has come through the area during the daylight.
It's been a beautiful evening. Don't see or hear anything coming off the ridge above me. 13min left. Gonna stick it out just in case something comes running in last minute.
4 toms came into 30 yards. When I drew back, 2 putted and got out of here. The other 2 slowly walked away, so I shot at the first opportunity. He dropped right there. He's flapped a few times, but not going anywhere. I've had them frequently on camera in the evening, so was ready when they came in the woods. Back to deer broadheads You can see the dead one in the center and his buddy standing by him.
