    On public in ND. 8:08 sunrise and about to walk in. Haven’t set a stand or picked a tree in the dark in quite some time. This should be fun.

    In a tree. 15 mins until first light. Bumped 1 heavy footed deer coming in. Likely a buck. Good luck whoever is out

    Been here a bit seems to be a cluster of a day shaping up…caught a train at a crossing, saw 2 dead deer on the way here, left my food in the truck, clunky getting in…but I’m here.

    Cue the deer.

    I’ve seen a 3 point come, followed by a 4 and 6 point. The 4 and 6 when head to head and the 4 pushed the 6 off. Good start to the morning.

    Setup. First light in about 20 mins. Very light rain currently. Setup where this guy comes through. Side note I need to get a scale to weigh these deer.

    Been in the tree little over an hour. Just had a buck come through and make a scrape at 40yds then went behind. Looked like another 6pt or possible basket 8. I’ve been doing a little blind grunting not sure if that’s what brought him my way or not. Beautiful morning here.

    I'm in a tree up on the ridge. Usually a better spot for late mornings or mid day so I strolled in all casual like with the rising sun. Let's go! Happy November.
