    Boy, I hope I don’t regret this decision. I just had a 3.5 year old 11 point come by at 20 yards. It’s a deer I don’t have any pictures of.

    It’s the best time of the year and you just never know what might come around. I saw him coming from 50 yards and could immediately tell it was a young deer.

    Found the arrow broke off I probably only got 8-10” of penetration. Not finding blood yet. Have a buddy coming.

    pic is from this AM .... felt so good to be back in a tree ... sat till 11, was planning an all dayer, but life got in the way and couldnt stay for the PM (drats) ... good walk in (.83mi.), set up went good ... only saw a spike 37 yds crossing thru the marsh grass .. watched plenty of sqrls, various birds and 9 turkey ... btw, did I ever say I HATE chipmunks ... I'll be out all day tomorrow (sat.), not sure if I'll stay in one place or move for the evening ..
