that was a lot of pages to catch up on since yesterday with no buck kills.... anyway, no signal where I was, but had really fun sit tonight in mid-MI, saw at least 2 different bucks (poss 3) but all were 2.5 and only one was in range. Also saw 2-3 does. At about 50 yards, I had a cool 2.5yo 4x3 that was grunting and pushing one of those does around, he was typical 4 on one side, 3 spikes coming out of the other side pedicle. Longest was maybe 10" or so. I hope he makes it another year or two, he's gonna be a very cool non-typical. I pulled the binos out on him, I just had to get a clear view on what the deal was on that trash side. On my drive up from IL, the shoulders were littered with fresh roadkills, and I also saw a half-rack 2.5yo 4x0 that was chasing a doe across a winter wheat field at like 1pm. It's about That Time. Hitting the hay now, good night and good luck tomorrow to all you mid week killas
I stayed up until 9:30 tonight. Feel like when I was a kid and could finally stay up late watching Night Tracks on TBS
I only saw the 2 that I kicked up walking in last night. Shortly after I ate dinner and conversing with the wife, I went to bed. I’m up and biting the bullet. It’s storming here. Gonna ride this out in the house. Grrrrr
Probably not going today or tomorrow. My wife has been gone for three weeks and I have to pick her today at the airport so after all that and spending some time with her, I'll be shooting for Saturday Sent from my SM-S916U1 using Tapatalk
How to gage the severity of rain. Both dogs get to door hear the rain back up and shake their heads no...lol I then have to grab collars and literally FORCE them off the porch. Our 3 day rain event started early. Good luck to those going out
I remember yours also, our seasons sucked! Made a effort to correct this year and hopefully im back on track. Its funny, ive had some amazing seasons in the past. But these dang horrible ones i just cant shake. I wish when im sitting around and reminiscing, i could just remember all the good ones. But i guess these bad seasons is what makes us strive to be better and keep us in perspective. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

I'll be out, but probably not till 11 cause of the rain. I'll also be out with my Muzzleloader as it's Doe season starting today for 4 days. Good luck everyone.
I’m set up in the same tree I was in when I shot the buck. I don’t expect to see deer after all of the stomping around we did but I do hope to see buzzards circling.
I got home from work last evening, and this guy let me get within about 10’. Not sure if it’s wants to be my pet, I should take up falconry or is an omen. Good luck morning crew!
Welp. I’m up in the trees. I told myself this year less phone more focus. So I will be in the background. I have a few good bucks I’m after. The last one is at my uncles. Hope he gets him b4 I go up there and kill him haha. He’s already busting stuff off.
Not sure if it’s just coincidence but 15-20 buzzards were roosted around me. I didn’t know until they just flew out of their roosts and headed west which is the direction the buck came from.
2 small bucks cruising looking for love so far Sent from my SM-S928U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
If I did kill a giant and ended up finding the first buck the first buck would be the one that counted for the contest.
You think that’s green?? Here’s my view from MD last weekend Hoping this rain and wind today knocks down a lot for this weekend
