This guy showed up at 630 this morning, right where I shot her.

Here is the last known picture of her...just before I shot her! 1000014924.jpg 1000014925.jpg

Nothing here yet, although I heard one walking through the thick stuff. My opossum friend went by again earlier, a couple of bald eagles flying around. The mock scrape that I am sitting near is being worked so that is good. Also I think they are picking the corn to my east about a 1/4 mile away so that is good

I also forgot, the neighbors are doing laundry, it’s strong smelling stuff they like.

    I'm glad you found her!

And look at the bright side. The critters were just trying to help you out and started to gut her for you! Haha

    Sorry if that too soon

Stayed in this morning . Cut up a bunch of veggies and browned up a pan of venision cubes to make a big crockpot of soup.
Appease hubby with hot soup and onion rolls when he gets home...for I'll be out in old reliable hunting tonight.
I'm afraid to check the garden blind cam ....

Sitting on the front deck having coffee listening to racket the deer are making in the thicket across road. Got to believe there is a young buck over there chasing the does.

Found him. I lost all hope and went back to the closest waterway.

The rain stopped early this morning. I could have hunted but didn’t even consider it. I decided to sleep in instead.

    I’ll get out this afternoon.

My son left early yesterday morning. About 4:30 pm I went into the camper to make sure the heat and water were turned off. They were, so I killed the lights, walked out and shut the door.

I stepped outside at 10:30 last night and heard what sounded like a small dog barking by the camper. I walked over and quickly realized it was inside the camper.

Bucko had followed me in and I had no idea. He had been shut in the camper for six hours. I opened the door dreading what I would find and sure enough, shredded styrofoam was everywhere.

He had destroyed the door trying to get out. He would have made it if it hadn’t been for the aluminum skin.

He’s okay. I felt really bad for him.

Once I finish my coffee I’ll go assess the damage.
