Think it will be 20 years this December that I've had it. Have replaced the battery and the straps.

Thought about abandoning the watch and knives, decided 1 watch and 1 knife starting this year. This watvh and my tribute to my uncle Buck knife.

Wow, that's crazy that it's 20 years old. The things we cling to that we have had good luck with. Hopefully, the 20th year will bring you a Booner.

He's been walking the whole time. Drops here and there and then a puddle where he stands. Maybe another shoulder hit?

Doesn't sound promising. Know anyone with a drone? Pretty sure legal in IN now, less intrusive and at least tell you if alive and still moving witgout pushing.

Wish they were legal everywhere to aide in recovery, even though I'm not a fan of all the technology

Nothing for me this afternoon. No birds, no squirrels, no deer. Woods were earily quiet.

Hope all goes well! I've had kills that looked very promising that ended up being terrible track jobs and others I thought were terrible that ended up being easy peasy! Good Luck!

The arrow has nice red blood on it, no guts. But I came across some piles of blood and corn/grass. Man I dont think I gut shot him but the corn in the blood says otherwise.

Was the shot a pass thru? If not it sounds like you only have one hole in him and it's mid body

Would explain him standing around after the shot. Was his tail tucked the whole time? Probably best to stop pushing him and try to recover tomorrow.
