Good luck to you! I only wish the all Sundays being open to hunting applied to State Parks too! It's only three Sundays in Nov. for State Parks (16th, 23rd, 30th). The conditions are perfect today in my immediate region. The sad part is Thursday is supposed to be heavy rain going into early Friday. That's at least one lost day during prime time! The peak of rutting activity in my area is about done by then. Well, the 16th might still have some decent activity. I actually killed one of my best bucks chasing a doe on Nov. 14th one year, but the other two dates are late. This is that buck.
Me and my youngest daughter are out for the evening hunting a spot a few bucks have been by a couple evenings in a row had a good one on cam yesterday evening but we were playing travel softball Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm set upon my back food plot. Rye grass and clover. Noticed a scrape under a licking branch when I got up in the tree. 40degrees, light wind out of the NW. Deer have been moving. Definitely pre rut here. Still nothing big enough for me to shoot on camera, but ya just never know this time of year. Was still to sick to go out Friday and had my sons playoff soccer game yesterday. I'm good enough to get in a short two hour sit today to get back in the swing. Good luck everyone who is out.
I hunted quick this morning before church. Saw a doe and fawn headed my way....then distracted by the goats in the pen. Hoping for a doe tonight. I've had 4 close encounters this week....but dang, no shooting. Need this lull to end. Good luck tree huggers!
Me too! I have one shooting lane available but it’s the right one and I’m in what I believe to be a good spot. Maybe too early we will see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
