    different deer .... could be same gene pool as the right side palmation shows on both ....
    I have sheds from different deer/same property that have same characteristics thru the years ..

    I really hope you find your buck. I agree with entropyfx, it looks and sounds like a liver hit. And if it is, he will be dead. Let us know what you find when you go back out. Good luck to you!

    Absolutely sounds like a liver hit. That Deer was dead with 3 hours in my opinion
