WI does that also. Was 2, maybe 3 weekends ago. Had my top 2 target bucks in daylight on my cams both days, too.

Nothing since that little 6 point. Grandsons saw a doe that worked away from them.

    I'm up, obviously.
I skipped this AM hunt, was dead tired and just not feeling it.

Wind is variable SE/E/NE which is both odd and kind of crappy for most of our stands. Even odder, supposed to keep coming from the E thru TU which is when we're leaving.

I'm in same stand i killed my doe from last weekend. Long as they come from same direction my wind is good.

    GL killers

I can’t believe I forgot to mention that. About 300 yards!

15 years ago, I drew on a doe 8 yards away. She took 5 quick steps and stopped. She was over left shoulder. At first I thought I missed, but as she made a j turn, I could see stuff hanging out. I put a 12 inch slice in her belly skin. A half hour after shot, birds were 50 yards away eating.. I thought she'd be laying there, but it was just her entire stomach. The doe went another 150 yards...looked like someone pulled a bloody mop the whole way. Nastiest gut job ever.

The skies opened up and I didn't go out. Had an exciting time putting chickens to bed.
Got over there and see I was missing chickens. Then look in the rooster pen to see a possum. Well pretty ticked off at the time. I round the barn grabbing an old rake handle. I get into the fenced pen and we had a fight. So possums do not always play "possum". This sucker popped at me, pretty sure he left this world with all bones in his body broken!

I'm just glad they're still alive. Freaking 2 day gun hunt when they're still on summer feeding patterns. Yeesh

Nothing yet tonight, but it's prime time and phone is getting put away.
